Atkins Plumbing & Gas recently completed the plumbing and gas installation for a residential renovation in Adamstown Heights, working alongside Newcastle Cooling & Power Solutions.
Our scope included the complete plumbing rough-in and final fit-off for the kitchen, bathroom, ensuite and laundry, delivering a fully compliant plumbing system ready for handover.
The project included:
- Installation of underground and aerial sanitary drainage
- New hot, cold and rainwater pipework throughout the home
- Rough-in of all plumbing fixtures, including the kitchen, bathrooms, ensuite and laundry
- New gas line installation for the kitchen cooktop
- Dishwasher, washing machine and refrigerator water connections
- Floor wastes, puddle flanges, inspection openings and vent pipe installation
- New underground sewer connection to the main drainage system
- Pressure testing of the entire water system to 1,500kPa (220 PSI) with no pressure loss recorded
- Final fit-off of toilets, basins, kitchen sink, mixers, laundry connections and gas appliances
- Working closely with Newcastle Cooling & Power Solutions, we ensured every stage of the installation was completed to Australian Standards with a strong focus on quality, functionality and attention to detail.
